Inside the Mill - Andrew Elliot

I recently took a trip to the stunning Scottish Borders to visit one of my tweed suppliers.
A mill that is renowned to make some of the best fabrics in the country:

They have been weaving in Selkirk since the 60’s.
The mill and the machines there are real and rugged.

It almost feels like being in a mechanic’s workshop.

A fantastic perk of being a designer is the insight I get to have in such incredible places.

To see the latest or most ancient fabrics.
I love browsing these woven masterpieces and choosing which one will make it into my collection.

I leave with beautiful samples and memories of an unforgettable experience.
